SHOW JUMPING & FREE-JUMPING
Developing Confidence, Rhythm & Technique
With extensive backgrounds in competitive Eventing and Show Jumping, we’re well-equipped to develop your horse’s talent over fences.
Whether it’s Show Jumping or Cross Country, we focus on producing horses that are confident, rhythmic and technically correct.
Many of our horses benefit from time in our free-jumping lane, which allows them to develop confidence and enthusiasm for jumping in a relaxed, pressure-free setting.
When Confidence Has Been Lost
We also specialise in correcting issues such as refusals or loss of jumping confidence.
Our thoughtful, horse-first approach involves identifying the root cause—whether physical, mental or training-related—and then working patiently to rebuild trust and technique.
When the horse is ready, we encourage owners to join us for in-hand lessons to re-establish the rider-horse connection and move forward as a confident team.

POSITIVE EARLY EXPERIENCES
Cross-Country Schooling
Our Cross-Country schooling is particularly popular with clients looking to introduce their horses to XC in the right way.
Early experiences over ditches, banks and water jumps matter, and we ensure they are positive, progressive and enjoyable.
This allows horses to develop the confidence and enthusiasm that carries them forward successfully through the grades.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
Feedback & Reviews
Ruth Lucas
“I have sent several mares to Karen to be served by Mighty Heights and have always been delighted with the care that they have received. She has always kept me informed of their progress and I have been confident that they have been treated with respect and understanding. The resulting offspring have also been exceptional and I will certainly be returning mares for the coming season.”
Shelby Cooper
“I bought Steve from Karen as my first hack a couple years ago. Steven is such a placid and kind natured horse. Karen has been helpful to me ever since I first saw him and still is to this day with maintaining my gorgeous boy. I feel very lucky to have him and from such a great place where he was able to mature and be ready to become my best mate!”
Sue Dunmore
“I just wanted to write to say thank you and how privileged we feel to be the owners of a Mighty Heights horse.
The transition from ponies to hacks can sometimes be quite problematic. The amazing nature of the Mighty Heights progeny and the training you have put into them has made this transition for my daughter not only seamless but an absolute delight.
It has completely rebuilt her confidence and reignited her passion; something I am eternally grateful for.”
